Goldfinger played by Jim Harris on the Technics FA1 Organ
1964 James Bond thriller “Goldfinger” and composed by John Barry and with lyrics by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley and sang by Shirley Bassey for the film’s opening and closing title sequences and soundtrack album release. This song gave Bassey her only U.S. top ten hit, peaking at number eight. Producer George Martin was also involved with The Beatles. The Bond movies are still great, even today. I still marvel at the quality of the cinematography and complexity of the high-tech gadgets they used. This music definitely has that James Bond spy genre. Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching. Best regards, Jim

Never heard a James …
Never heard a James Bond played theater organ style and I’m just amazed!
Jim, perhaps you could do another theme from James Bond, perhaps from Russia with Love or similar and add those ‘hidden’ sound effects of the FA1 such as the helicopter and gunshots, explosion and hopefully get the young kids interested in learning the organ

One last neat thing …
One last neat thing is you remove four (4) small screws, unplug one (1) cable and the organ spilts in half. You put the whole instrument into a small van or station wagon. Yes, it’s a bit heavy but divided in half and a regular hand truck it moves ‘a lot’ easier than a 500lb Baldwin or Hammond

And lastly thanks “always” for your kind compliments and encouragement. Getting older and still having fun, imagine that? Just like the song “young at heart” Best regards, Jim
This model can be set to different modes of operation such as jazz, theatre, standard, etc. All sounds are internally generated ”but” as I have done here, you can tweak any of the elements of a given voice. Virtually unlimited. Best organ I have ever played and I am still exploring

Superb. Not only am …
Superb. Not only am I blown away by your awesome playing Jim, but the Technics sounds fantastic. Are you using the preset tones/stops of the FA1? If so, they are really quite brilliant, and may tempt me toward buying one.
